Q: Please describe your very first coming into awareness about Feng Shui.
A: Since I was a little girl I roamed the Irish countryside on my horse, galloping up the rolling green hills. We’d hop fallen trees, bound down mountains, and swim together in the ocean, reveling in each other and the earth. I’d sing with the fairies of the forest, never questioning the magic surrounding me. I felt the vibration and resonance of the earth and the deepest love you could imagine.
I have always sensed my connection to the earth and the animal kingdom, as well as to the “other” worlds of magic and the fairies. It didn’t matter what else was going on in my life, it was in these connections that I found my peace.
If my mum insisted that I had to go upstairs and sleep in my bed I would make sure to bring all the rocks, crystals, plants, and flowers that I had collected up with me.
And if I was to be sleeping in my room I would always rearrange the direction of my bed and shuffle other things around in my room if they did not feel right—just as a baby turns itself in a crib at night to find a perfect posture and direction for harmony on that day.
I do not like clutter and have always had very little attachment to material things except natural objects such as rocks, plants and gemstones.
Mother Nature was my teacher and a far more loving one than those I inside my classrooms. As the sun started to rise in the sky I was outside on the earth, usually on my horse galloping up the fields, lost in enchanted forests. I spent hours in meditation connecting with the earth, my higher self and spirit. Solitude, connection, and peace were nature’s gifts and lessons. Whatever else was going on in my life those moments were healing in every way.
Even as a child, I understood the land, its energy and requests, and the importance of my and everyone else’s connection to Earth. Surely, this intuitive understanding and lifelong experience are what brought me to Feng Shui as an adult.
I moved to the U.S. at the age of 19. At my first home, people asked whether I had had it “Feng Shui’ed.” I had no idea what that meant. After dozens of people asked, I had to find out what they were talking about. I went to the local library and, as I read, I cried. Chills flowed through my body as though I was reconnecting to something deep inside of me.
Even though in the past I did not love to study, this all changed when I discovered Feng Shui. I could not get enough!
I went to China, to explore the source of this wisdom. I have taken more than 20 certifications, exploring all the different forms. Some trainings were just all numbers-based, while others were completely intuition-based, and in my own practice I love balancing all those aspects.
Q: What is your branch of Feng Shui? How have you made it your own?
A: I have blissfully been studying Feng Shui for almost 20 years now and love just diving in deeper to all aspects of Feng Shui, the land and its magic.
I’ve traveled the globe learning about the world’s great wisdom traditions. I’ve studied Feng Shui with masters in China, natural healing with aborigines in Australia, and shamanism in Peru’s sacred valley. I’m a certified yoga teacher, Reiki practitioner, and shaman. I am an ordained Celtic priestess and certified Land healer.
My greatest joy is teaching people to harness these ancient wisdoms so they can share their light with the world. This is why I founded the International Feng Shui School in 2003 and created a multi-faceted curriculum that brings those same principles to the integration of body, mind, and spirit.
My main focus for many years was classical, traditional Feng Shui which is still dear to my heart. However my intention goes beyond just working on your home; I like to simultaneously work with your inner Feng Shui by encouraging your connection to your creative energy, intuition and self-love. When you work on your Inner and Outer Feng Shui together, you truly get to experience the life-changing magic of this ancient science in your family, home, health, finances and career.
I intertwine Classical Feng Shui with Intentional FS energetics. I bring in layers, altars, and rituals with crystals and essential oils.
I love going deep into space-clearing in homes, and I also work with the land the house is build upon, healing and balancing that land if this is required.
But my greatest joy is to empower Y-O-U. I teach you how to transform your space and life, and share your unique light with the world. As a working mom, I also share my personal practices for self-care and self-love, which is perhaps the most essential part!
I weave in spiritual practices from yoga, Reiki, shamanism and Celtic Priestess traditions, all of which I’ve studied and taught. This is not just a Feng Shui course. It’s a soul course—a blueprint for your best and highest self!
Q: How has Feng Shui changed your life?
A: It has transformed my life in so many ways and helped me and my family daily. As soon as I was ready to meet my soulmate, I created my Feng Shui letter for love and, within three weeks, I met him.
As soon as we were ready to welcome children into our lives on a physical level, we did Feng Shui for fertility. And what a blessing it is to be the guides and caretakers of our son and daughter.
Feng Shui also brings other magical, beautiful souls into my life daily.
It helps us in every area of our lives even down to such simple things as salt water cures that can make us feel cleansed.
I am so grateful to Feng Shui as its blesses and helps me and my family. I feel that if every home were Feng Shui’ed and the occupants were also to come truly into a place of energetic alignment and healing, we would have world peace.

Q: What is the latest area of expansion for your school?
A: Alina Cruz our wonderful Feng Shui teacher at the International Feng Shui School has created Feng Shui Your Life & Feng Shui Master Certification in spanish which will be available in the Spring of 2020.
I have collaborated with my dear friend Aine Breen founder of ‘Liwu’ jewellery (meaning gift – Small Gifts, Big Meanings) and together we have created an elegant Feng Shui Jewelry line with crystals of the 5 elements. Our intention with this line is to empower you using the 5 elements you can choose your own personal trigram element to wear or an element whose energy you want to bring in such as wanting more fire as the light and heat of this element kindles inner light, power and passion. It ignites action when we need it and stokes healthy relationships. Fire reminds us to live in our own radiance.
Q: Besides yourself, what does your school offer that is unique compared to Feng Shui training opportunities?
A: We offer the Inner Circle of Feng Shui. This is our popular membership-based program packed with classes and resources you won’t find anywhere else. Students have the chance to request certain themes, from Feng Shui for Pets to Dowsing the Land. You’ll also enjoy monthly meditations, seasonal ceremonies, and tips for your Feng Shui practice. Memberships cost $35 per month.
We are offering a journey to China in October 2019 in collaboration with James Jay, Feng Shui Designs/China Study.
We also offer in person retreats on land clearing and healing; we just had one in May 2019.
Q: What is your guiding philosophy about teaching Feng Shui?
A: Feng Shui truly is a body, mind, and spirit practice. I love that it ignites all parts of us from the left side of the brain with the classical Feng Shui—as the intuitive will feel into the energies and spirits and ancestors of the land and home—as well as the right side with the beautiful creative use of color, artwork, furniture alignment. And then, of course, we create a home that fosters the law of attraction, so it’s aligned with who we are and where we want to go.
By staying tuned into our home, our surroundings, the changing seasons and only having what we love in our space, by giving gratitude and love to our home, then the love comes pouring back.
Q: What is your favorite nugget of wisdom about using Feng Shui yourself?
A: Feng Shui is a lifestyle, clearing clutter is not just about stuff it’s about clearing old limiting beliefs, old sabotaging ways, as well as the people and places who are not serving you as you grow and expand.
Our environment is an outward reflection of how we feel on the inside. Feng Shui supports us to see where we are not truly loving and accepting ourselves.
It takes us on a journey as we heal the land and the home—and we do that, the land and home heals us. We make soul agreements between us and the land and home.
Our homes teach us to love and respect ourselves, to connect with the earth, and our higher selves. Our home gives us tell-tale signs when we are out of balance as things start breaking and getting cluttered.
Our homes are guiding us home.
