I had a wonderful, Soulful conversation with Caroline Patrick BorNei, a dedicated Feng Shui practitioner, Teacher and Artist for the last 21 years! Read on to learn more about Caroline–she’s a treasure trove of wisdom! From Tanya Jahnke, IFSG Board Member
Q: How did you find your way to Feng Shui?
A: Caroline has been in tune with the land since she was a child living on her family farm, laying on the Earth and looking up at the stars. Noticing land forms, feeling the energy of the land and diving deep into several metaphysical studies (she studied Herbalism for 15 years, Vedic Medicine and finally Feng Shui).…Caroline has been a lifelong student! Caroline began painting at age 6 when she received oil paints and art lessons for her birthday. A dreamy, creative kid, Caroline fell in love with art. A friend sent Caroline an article on geomancy, which she tucked away in an art journal and forgot about for several years. The article kept dropping out of the art book, like a repetitive sign from the Universe and she eventually found her way to Roger Green and ultimately Professor Lin Yun to study. Caroline said that practicing Feng Shui felt like coming home.
Q: What is your specialty or niche?
A: Caroline is a Teacher, Artist and BTB Feng Shui Expert. Caroline loves to create sacred art–bringing the Cosmos into each painting, she is living her Soul’s work. Caroline infuses each consultation, article and painting with her pure heart. Caroline’s works have been shown in galleries from Benecia, California to Sedona, Arizona. Caroline owned “Caroline’s Arts & Feng Shui Shop” in California and at the same time Professor Lin Yun asked her to help him with doing consultations (2-3 per week, 6 days a week!). Caroline learned a TON and was a close friend and confidant of Professor.
Q: Tell me more about your time with Professor.
A: Caroline traveled to Berkely and all around the United States to take classes from Professor. They had a special connection and he asked her to chronicle his wisdom and their gatherings through photography. Professor blessed her paintings and forecasted the title for her eventual book, “Diary of a Feng Shui Consultant & Her Travels.” Caroline fell in love with Feng Shui—heart and Soul. Giving Feng Shui consultations and changing lives has offered her profound rewards and happiness.
Q: It’s obvious that you’re a Creative Spirit. You’ve traveled and lived from Missouri to Hawaii, Arizona to Washington. You’re not afraid of adventure and living life to the fullest. Tell me what you see in the near future for yourself.
A: Caroline is excited to share her deep wisdom with others through writing, teaching and possibly an online course. Caroline thrives in community and will hopefully be sharing her gifts with all of us!
